The pressure to upgrade our room was frustrating. We were shoved towards a costly upgrade upon arrival, only to be miserable throughout the night with noise from an all-night street party right outside. It was infuriating that we weren't informed about this beforehand, which ruined our chances of a good night's sleep.

Staying at this hotel was like stepping into a living history book. The charming decor and fine view of the river were highlights. Breakfast variety could improve as we faced some limited options. A good experience immersed in local culture.

It was super close to the Vallter ski resort, perfect for snow sports, and the mountain bike routes. Rooms were comfy, and it was nice to relax in our spacious accommodations. Breakfast was decent too. Just know that parking might be tricky!

When we arrived, the owner personally took us to the parking, a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh cooked eggs and good coffee.

It wasn't inexpensive but still quite reasonable.
